Uninterested vs Disinterested

Disinterested and uninterested mean completely different things. While a disinterested person is someone who is impartial – fair, neutral and nondiscriminatory in a particular circumstance. An uninterested person is someone who for example, is bored, indifferent or takes no interest in a story or event.
