Hello Ray.
Several years ago now, we had a brief email exchange. I was, at the time, passing on my appreciation for your ‘audioblogger’ post, “The Long Island Distressway.” I may have linked to it on my Web site, UncleMarty.net.
A few months ago I tried to reach you to let you know that I still have a recording of that post, I still love your delivery, and I was planning to use an edited version of it on a short video segment for a new, international, collaborative video project. I didn’t hear back, and I’m unsure if you got my message.
Today, I am writing to let you know that I did use it. The project has grown, and some of my more ambitious co-collaborators have been busy arranging screenings around the world, and Monday night, August 18, the first six video-shorts will be screened in New York at Monkeytown in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

I hope this is not offensive to you. My intentions are earnest and positive.
I wanted to let you know, because your voice opens the entire ongoing project, “Good morning. This is the morning rush hour…” And I’m guessing you’re still in New York…
Please accept my apologies for not clearing this with you ahead of time. You can see and hear this introductory, one minute segment at the URL link below. There is more information about the project at the following URLs:

If you get a chance, please let me know that you’ve received this message.
Health and happiness to you and yours, Ray,
Peace, Love, and Understanding,
“May the traffic gods be with us,”
Best regards,
Marty
